SONGS WANTED!

Some of you are recieving the circulated SMS, but I'm putting it up here too, and I can even elaborate.

Basically, I am calling all songwriters/songwriter-to-be/songwriter wannabes to contribute something.. anything.. a song.. one verse.. one line.. even a word or two!

I have thought that instead of us using two songs from whoever else for our video presentation and the band+dance presentation this 31st December, it would be much better if we used OUR own songs!

This way, this can be 100% our own production and it will be something we can all take full ownership of. Besides, if we want to be showing this to more than just our own church, we can avoid the mess that is the legal issues of using somebody else's work and putting it into our own work. I'm willing to start looking into securing cheap/FOC recording facilities so we can do our thing. But I want to stress that we must first have songs that we can start recording on, and that there are people who can commit their time, effort and perhaps some money into this. (the people who help us record our songs also need to eat, you know?) So think it over, but don't let these issues stop you from contributing songs!

So, what are you waiting for? Send send send send them in!

I also no talent.. but I will try to write on or two.. TRY.. I also hope we can do everything by our own cause with this ppl is convince joining youth is not a waste of time! We can do a lot of thing~

Don't worry about the stuff you send in, no matter how much or how little you write..

Well, do what you guys can yeah?

I think, what if one day, we come together and come out with one song or more. So that the song is from everyone and also like that they can have some inspiration! if individual, they might think they can't and they don't want to do it. This is just an opinion from me la. depends on you la~ =)
